Steelers didn't get screwed over by calls as much as Seattle did (Correct call or not)
I'd say the hawks game was better than they usually play and Steelers did worse than usual. And as for deep passes, it was toward the end of the game when those would have really mattered and the weak zone is on the side a little deep, going too deep picks up Polamalu, and no one wants that.
As for comeback, every team has its strengths and weaknesses, Seahawks would have done well on scoring in the early game while other teams might have better luck rallying their players at halftime and putting up a 2 minute drive.
As for who stepped up to the challenge, I would say hawks because they came in underrated putting up a fight much larger than most would believe however that did not earn them the win. You can't quite compare Seattle on a good day and Pitts on the other because of the way the calls came at crucial game points. After all, how do you know Seattle and Pitts weren't playing at the same level? Not all of the best teams can come back in the last 2-4 minutes.
Note: My points might contradict because of the way I tried addressing everything at once.

Lol...did you hear me say Seahawks won? Did you? I expect to talk with people that can actually talk and get their ideas out no matter what they support. I have never seen someone so full of his team that he would post something so stupid like this.
BTW it's a discussion, I can discuss about Week 1 if I wanted too.

AFC does have all the good teams, Broncos, Pats, Chargers, Colts, Steelers, Bengals, but the NFC has more explosive players.
They have the Bears Defense, Seahawks O-line and league MVP, some Eagles Defense as well and Steve Smith. I don't think I can call the winner, but the AFC will look like the teams that score over time while the NFC will take the early lead and have the top defensive players protect that score.

I saw, game over anyway, 23-17 I think, it was hugely a defensive game due to the bad passes. Wasn't as exciting as I wanted it to be, I wanted to see Chad dance.

The pats team is falling apart mcginest is gone to browns there kicker will most likey be gone, and I think rodney will retire,
the steelers are the 2005 super bowl champions and it was great to see a good super bowl for once for me in three years
the eagles added a pass rusher from the free agent market as well as a tight end a 6'5 255 lb one from the bengals
the redskins have signed randel el to a long term deal and are signing more players
the vikings culpepper is gone it's brad's show now
miami has a new QB his name is culpepper
in a matter of four days these teams and more have signed and traded picks and players
Owens contract a few days ago was terminated he will never again be an eagle and he will never again get as much as the eagles offered him he's a FOOL.
Drew bree's is the new saints QB with a 6 yr 60 million deal with 10 million bonus I think the chargers are fools for letting him go.
Edgerin james is in arizona no longer a colt signed a four deal 30 million with 10 million bonus.
even tho it's so far away over 125 days till the next NFL season my super bowl picks in miami at
pro player:
Arazona vs Steelers
Eagles vs Steelers
Steelers vs Rams
Eagles vs Jets
Giants vs Steelers
anyways these are my picks
best of luck to all but pats n bucs next season!

I'm a little surprised that Miami traded for Culpepper. I guess I wasn't expecting it, but it is a kind of good surprise. If his knee gets better he is one of the toughest QB's there is and hard to control.
Still I think Miami goofed by letting both ferotte and rosenfelds go. :| One of them would have been a good backup. I hope they draft someone as well in case culpepper either doesn't fit the system or as an insurance policy.
Brees to Saints was an interesting move.

I don't know about steelers coming back to the superbowl. They lost one of their safeties and Randle El who gives them tons of yards on returns and gadget plays. Winning as a 6th seed was hard enough and by that barely. I think we might see Arizona or Chicago and the Colts if they can put it back together. Out of all the free agencies it seems that most of the top teams of 2005 lost a key player, Chargers losing Brees, Vikings losing Culpepper, Seahawks losing Hutchinson, Steelers losing Randle El, Colts losing Edge and possibly the Bengals losing Palmer.

Steelers have a chance because of Big Ben. Steelers are in trouble because they are going to have one of the toughest scheduels next year.
Go Phins!

With a good QB now, they have a good chance of winning 11 or 12 games. That'll get them in the playoffs. Also Miami was the first team to go all the way undefeated so who knows. Saban is the closest thing to Bill Belichick besides Belichick so he's got a shot.
And the steelers-seahawks SB was almost a home game for pittsburg.

Well yes thats true Im just following history no team who was the home team for that super bowl has ever got there or won it perhaps the phins will be the first to do so and I think the saints if they stay healthy will be quite good under bree's and there running backs next season could be something for our eyes.

Owens signs 25 milion 3 yr deal with dallas
oh well dallas fans enjoy the drama and in one of his years he will most likey trash the QB and his teamates and everyone else and once again the ego of owens will come out
the only way it wont happen is if parcells shuts him up and keeps him shut up however I dont see that happening at least the eagles can be a team again and not a one man circus
owens is getting old lol
I hope the eagles draft chad jackson he's a fast strong wide out I saw him at the combine ran 4.3 something big strong and tall
well owens lost alot of money the eagles would have paid him 48 million over 7 yrs
well now I bet he doesnt like that he lost more then 20 million in cash
